Henry Cecil Lowther. M.C.C., Surrey, Hampshire & England 1819-1843. Original signed free-front envelope to a Henry Stephenson, dated and sent from Penrith ‘October Eleven 1824’. Nicely signed by Lowther in black ink. A rare early signature of Lowther whose long political service as a conservative M.P. saw him become the Father of the House. Good/ very good condition.
