‘The Boss’ Royal Doulton Black Boy miniature vase, entitled ‘The Boss’ printed with a boy in red shirt and a floppy hat, wearing an umpires’s coat and holding a bat to one side and to the other, a crest with ‘The All Black Team’. Green floral decoration to outer rim. 4” tall. Doulton backstamp and number ‘E4336’ to base. Circa 1907. Good/very good condition. A very scarce and rarely seen ‘Black Boy’ miniature ceramic in lovely condition
