Robert William ‘Bob’ Taylor. Derbyshire & England 1961-1988. World XI Team international blazer worn by Taylor whilst playing for the World XI in Australia in 1971/72. The pale blue blazer, by Philip Joseph’ with gold and red ‘World’ emblem and ‘1971-72’ and ‘Rest of the World XI’ title below on the breast pocket of the blazer. Odd minor wear otherwise in good condition. A rare blazer from the tour, not often seen. Sold with an official photograph of the touring team to Australia, standing and seated in rows, wearing tour blazers and cricket attire. Players included Sobers, Kanhai, Intikhab, G. Pollock, C. Lloyd, A. Greig, P. Pollock, Asif Masood, Zaheer, Gavaskar, Engineer, Taylor, Gifford etc. Title to top and players names to lower border. 13”x12.75”. Some fading to the photograph
