Handwritten dedication in ink to the front endpaper from Dennis Silk (Cambridge University & Somerset 1952-1960) ‘To S.S. [Siegfried Sassoon], 80 not out, and much the greatest blessing Cricket has brought me, from Dennis’, dated 8th November 1966, with a further dedication below ‘And glad to see it again nearly thirty years on!’ nicely signed ‘Dennis Silk’ and dated 11th November 1994. Padwick 6757. An interesting association copy. Good/ very good condition.
