First limited edition of 250 copies, this being number 91. Foreword by the Duke of Devonshire, signed in ink by the Duke below his frontispiece photograph, dated 1989 (he originally signed the first fifty copies). Seventeen signatures of players on pieces laid down to photo plates and page. Signatures are B.H. Richardson, J.M. Kelly, D.C. Morgan, A. Hamer (2), C.S. Elliott, A.E.G. Rhodes, G.L. Willatt, G.O. Dawkes, A.C. Revill, D.B. Carr, C. Lee, H.L. Jackson, H.J. Rhodes, G.W. Richardson, E. Smith, and R.H.R. Buckston. Laid down to the front endpaper is an official invitation to a ‘Special Preview’ at the Buxton Festival Book Fair, 21st July 1989, and to the rear endpaper an official scorecard for the ‘Centenary Celebration Match, Derbyshire v M.C.C.’, Chesterfield 5th July 1970.
