Sixth year of issue in the series of ‘Feats, Facts and Figures’ (see below) of which only thirty copies were produced, this being copy number 16. 36pp. Presentation copy to ‘Jas. This was the sixth in a series of limited edition booklets compiled by Ashley-Cooper issued between 1899 and 1906, comprising articles first serialised in ‘Cricket’ magazine, 26th October 1905 to 22nd February 1906. This issue appears to be one of that series albeit with a different title. Padwick deemed this worthy of its own index number. Many of the statistical tables featured in other issues were omitted from this issue, hence its shorter format. The 1905 season was notable for the debut of Jack Hobbs for Surrey in which he made 28 and 155.James Catton was a notable football journalist who wrote under the pseudonym ‘Tityrus’ and became editor of the ‘Athletic News’.
