Published by J. Godden, Nottingham, ‘Sport Series No. 3’ in a series of twelve. Printed title and players’ names to borders. Players featured include Jones (Captain), Iremonger, J. Gunn, Payton, Hardstaff, G. Gunn, Alletson, Oates etc. Postmarked 1908 with cricket-related correspondence to verso. 6.25”x4.75”. Wear and some soiling, nicks and tear to edges with tape repairs to verso. Rare. Not previously seen by the auctioneer.
