‘Kent County Cricket Team. The Champions of 1906’ c.1908. Mono oversize postcard of the Kent team seated and standing in rows wearing cricket attire, caps and blazers. Published by J. Godden, Nottingham, ‘Sport Series No. 7’ in a series of twelve. Printed title and players’ names to borders. Players featured include Mason (Captain), Dillon, Day, Blaker, Hardinge, Huish, Blythe, Woolley, Fielder, Humphreys, Fairservice, Seymour etc. Postmarked 1908 with handwritten cricket-related correspondence to the front side margins. 6.25”x4.75”. Minor wear and soiling, otherwise in good condition. Rare. Not previously seen by the auctioneer.
