David Denton. Yorkshire & England 1894-1920. Early sepia real photograph postcard of Denton standing full length at the wicket in batting pose wearing a Yorkshire cap. Blind embossed stamp for Foster of Brighton to lower left corner. Very nicely signed to the photograph in black ink by Denton, with handwritten message to verso from Denton to a lady collector in Somerset, also nicely signed by Denton. Postmarked 1905. Minor wear to corners and edges, otherwise in very good condition. Excellent image and signatures.
