Comic and other cricket postcards 1907 onwards. An interesting and varied selection of humorous postcards. Includes two colour ‘Rajar Bromide’ real photograph birthday postcards, one of a young boy in bowling pose, the other of a toddler crouching in wicket-keeping stance, both appear to be by Rotary (one series no. R.15-57) with decorative embossed borders. Postmarked c.1925-1929. Also five humorous and other postcards, series include Living Picture Series, Philco, A. & G. Taylor ‘Orthochrome’, Cynicus (postmarked 1907), six modern reproduction ‘Halcyon Cards’ postcards of ‘Cricket Illustrated’ cartoons by Tom Browne etc. Odd nicks and wear otherwise in generally good condition.
