‘Australian Sporting Personalities’ 1981. Set of four colour first day of issue postcards produced from the stamps of the series, each featuring a different sportsman. Includes the scarcer card of Victor Trumper (cricket), also Norman Brookes (tennis), Darby Munro (horse racing) and Walter Lindrum (billiards). Each postcard with matching stamp applied to the front and date stamped 18th February 1981 at the Philatelic Sales Centre, Sydney. Very good condition.
