‘Old Reptonians 1891’. Original sepia photograph of the team seated and standing on the stone steps of a memorial, presumably at Repton School. Hand written title and players’ names in ink to lower portion of the image. Notable players featured include C.B. Fry (Sussex & England, 26 Tests), F.G.J. Ford (Middlesex & England, 5 Tests), J.H. Kelsey (Sussex), P.G. Exham, A.H.J. Cochrane, G.B. Barrington (Derbyshire), E.M. Forbes (Essex) etc. and Rev. Arthur Forman seated with his wife and sons in front. 10.75”x7.5”. Photographer unknown. Very good condition. An excellent image.
