‘The Cricket Championship of India. The Ranji Trophy 1944-45’. Official folding scorecard for the tournament Final, Holkar v Bombay, played at the Brabourne Stadium, Bombay, 4th- 9th March 1945. The scorecard with fully printed scores and facsimile signatures printed in red by the Alliance Art Printing Works, Girgaum, Bombay. In the timeless match played over six days, Bombay (462 & 764) beat Holkar (360 & 492) by 374 runs. Notable performances for Bombay included Modi (98 & 151), Merchant (4 & 278), Cooper (52 & 104), and for Holkar, Denis Compton (20 & 249no) and Mushtaq Ali (109 & 130), with C.S. Nayudu taking eleven wickets for Holkar in the match. Vertical fold, soiling, otherwise in good condition.
