Nottinghamshire C.C.C. 1897-1909. Six early original scorecards, five for Nottinghamshire County matches and one other. Complete printed scores unless stated. Includes three commemorative silk scorecards for matches played at Trent Bridge, v Middlesex 19th- 21st August 1897, Middlesex won by 56 runs, Sydney Webb taking ten wickets for Middlesex on his first-class debut. v Surrey 19th- 21st May 1902, match drawn, George Gunn made his first-class debut. v Gloucestershire 22nd- 24th July 1909, Nottinghamshire won by 182 runs, J. Iremonger 100no, Arthur Jones taking a career best 8/71 in the second innings. All three printed by Charles H. Richards of Nottingham and each lightly laid down to page. Sold with two further Nottinghamshire scorecards, both with complete printed scores, for matches v Lancashire, Trent Bridge 30th June- 2nd July 1904, match drawn (J. Iremonger 197, J.T. Tyldesley 225), ex A.O. Jones collection, and v England [The Rest] (Champion County match), Kennington Oval 12th- 14th September 1907, match drawn. Also an official scorecard for ‘Rotherham v. Notts County’ played at Rotherham 30th June 1906, match result unknown, not found on cricketarchive.com. Odd folds and minor faults, otherwise in good condition.
