Australia tours to England 1953 & 1956. Two copies of the ‘Playfair Cricket Annual 1953’ edited by Peter West. One signed to the centre player portrait pages by fifteen members of the Australian touring party including Hassett, Morris, Archer, Benaud, Harvey, Hole, Lindwall, Miller etc., the other by five Australians, also members of the press and B.B.C. commentary team. Faults to the latter copy. Sold with ‘Cricketers from Australia’ Playfair tour booklet edited by Gordon Ross for the 1956 tour. One signed by fifteen members of the Australian touring party including Johnson, Archer, Benaud, Burke, Craig, Harvey, Lindwall, Rutherford etc. also by Don Bradman (heavy wear, tape repair and water damage), the other by four Australians, Crawford, Davidson, Langley and Wilson. Mixed condition, faults to two as described, otherwise in good condition. Qty 4.
