Syed Mushtaq Ali. India 1933/34-1951/52. Single page typed letter from Mushtaq Ali in Indore, dated 23rd March 1986 to ‘Mr. Khadim Hussain [Kim Baloch]’. Ali writes to ‘convey my heartiest thanks to you and express the feeling of my joy and pleasure to receive your letter’. He continues by rating some of the players he knew including S. Wazir Ali, C.K. Nayudu, Nissar, Imran, Jack Hobbs, Tate, Grimmett and Gavaskar. He closes with a request for ‘4 pair of thick white cricket socks for me... we don’t get nice cricket socks in this country’. Nicely signed in ink ‘Mushtaq Ali’. Light folds. Very good condition.
