North v South Test Trial 1927. Two sheets of attractive colour letterheads for Sheffield United Cricket & Football Club, Bramall Lane, Sheffield. One page nicely signed in black in by six members of the North team, the other similarly signed by seven of the South for the drawn match played 25th- 28th June 1927. Signatures are Percy Holmes, Harold Larwood, Jack Iddon, Frank Sibbles and Charlie Hallows of the North, Bill Ashdown, Thomas Shepherd, Walter Livesy, Tich Freeman, Stan Nichols, Jack O’Connor and Maurice Tate of the South. Both pages with horizontal folds and foxing, otherwise in good condition. Nice signatures.
