Rustomji Sheriyar ‘Rusi’ Modi. Parsees, Bombay & India 1941-1953. Single page typed letter from Modi replying to a request in 1963 for a photograph of himself. The letter signed ‘R.S. Modi’. Enclosed is the accompanying photograph of Modi in batting pose, signed in ink by Modi. The photograph by ‘The Hindu’, Madras measures 4”x6.25” with adhesive marks to verso. The letter trimmed, slightly affecting the signature. Age toning, otherwise in good condition.
