Indian Test cricketers. Three single page handwritten letters signed by Indian Test cricketers from various correspondents with interesting cricket content. Signatures are Roshan Harshadlal ‘Deepak’ Shodhan (three Tests 1952/53) c.1983, Ramesh Vithaldas ‘Buck’ Divecha (five Tests 1951/52-1952/53) dated 23rd February 1994, and Pananmal Hotchand Punjabi (five Tests 1954/55) dated 16th September 1983. Shodhan describes his pleasure (and surprise) at India’s victory in the 1983 World Cup and the warm reception given to Kapil Dev’s team on their return to India. Divecha recalls playing for Northamptonshire against Bradman’s Australians in 1948, but residency rules prevented him from playing for the County in the Championship. Punjabi remembers playing cricket with ‘Mr Cook who... went as a official scorer with the M.C.C. team to Australia’. Light folds, otherwise in good/very good condition.
