William ‘Bill’ Voce. Nottinghamshire & England 1927-1952. Single page handwritten letter from Voce writing from his home in Hucknall. The letter is undated but is a late reply to a letter of ‘Feb 76’ in which he was asked ‘which of the 27 Tests gave me the greatest pleasure’. His reply is ‘being asked to play in them... I enjoyed every match I played in weather [sic] I was getting good hiding or I giving hiding’. Nicely signed ‘Bill Voce’. Light fold. Very good condition.
