Pakistan Eaglets tour to England and Wales 1953. Small page nicely signed in ink by fourteen members of the Pakistan team for the opening match of the tour v Royal Air Force, Kingston-upon-Thames 20th- 23rd June 1953. Signatures include Fazal Mahmood, Ghazali, Alimuddin, Syed Ali, Mohammad Aslam, Zulfiqar Ahmed, Ismail Gul, Nasir Qizilbash, M.R. Ghani etc. Alf Gover, who acted as tour manager, also played in this match for the Eaglets. Small press cutting announcing the team for the match laid down to the page. Light folds, good/ very good condition.
Pakistan Eaglets were a team of young Pakistan players who toured England and Wales from 1952 to 1959. At least two members of the 1953 touring party, Alimuddin and Mohammad Aslam, were selected for the full Pakistan tour to England the following year in 1954.
