Kent C.C.C. 1920. Large album page beautifully signed in ink by the eleven of the Kent team plus the President, Lord Harris. Signatures are L.H.W. Troughton (Captain), J. Seymour, T.H.P. Beeching, W.J. Fairservice, G.C. Collins, F. Dutnall, A.P. Freeman, F.E. Woolley, W. Ashdown, H.T.W. Hardinge and J.C. Hubble. Lord Harris has signed ‘Harris, President’ in ink. Good/very good condition
Frank Dutnall played only four matches for Kent in 1919/20 and Thomas Beeching played only ten matches for the county in 1920/21.Lord Harris was one of the most influential men in cricket during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He played first class cricket for an amazing 42 years and was a close friend of W.G. Grace. He captained Kent and was England’s second ever test captain and also captained England in the first ever Test match held in England in 1880. He became president of the MCC and played an important role in determining the future of cricket.
