Cambridge and Oxford Universities 1912. Album page very nicely signed in ink by the eleven members of the Cambridge University team for the match v Sussex at Hove 20th- 22nd June 1912. Signatures of players who went on to play County and Test cricket are Kidd (Captain, Middlesex), Holloway (Sussex), Lagden (Surrey), Riley (Leicestershire), Morrison (Somerset), Calthorpe (Sussex, Warwickshire & England, 4 Tests), and Saville (Middlesex). Also signed in pencil to the verso by the eleven members of the Oxford University team for the match v Sussex at Horsham 24th- 26th June 1912. Signatures include Twining (Captain, Middlesex), Bardsley (Lancashire), Vidler (Sussex), Crutchley (Middlesex), Lister-Kaye (Europeans & Yorkshire), Lord (Middlesex), Knott (Kent & Sussex), Campbell (Surrey & Europeans), Naumann (Surrey), Altham (Surrey & Hampshire) etc. 4”x5.25”. Very good condition.
