Kumar Shri Ranjitsinhji. Cambridge University, Sussex, London County & England 1893-1920. Original printed letter on Jamnagar Palace official letterhead dated 29th September 1917 with handwritten salutation to ‘My dear Friend’ and the signature ‘Ranjitsinhji of Nawanagar’ in ink with other annotations. The letter relates to minutes of a Government committee meeting with the request for comments and recommendations. Some wear and light creasing, minor soiling, otherwise in good condition.
In 1907 Ranjitsinhji became Maharaja Jam Sahib of Nawanagar and was increasingly involved in the administration of his State, limiting his appearance in County cricket thereafter.
