Warren Bardsley. New South Wales & Australia 1903-1926. Tinted colour printed postcard of Bardsley, full length, in batting pose wearing Australian cap at Lord’s during the Australian tour of England in 1909. Nicely signed in black ink by Bardsley. Printed details to lower border ‘W. Bardsley, batting, New South Wales’. This card is from an anonymous series which comprised all sixteen members of the 1909 Australian tourists. An identical series was issued by R Empson & Co but these were mono postcards. Small old adhesive marks to corners of verso also minor staining otherwise in good condition
