Boy cricketer postcards c.1913. Six early colour postcards of photographic images of a young boy in various batting poses. ‘Series 1888’ printed in Saxony. Titles are ‘Ready for a run’, ‘The hope of his side’, ‘Well played Sir’, ‘A narrow squeak’, ‘Play’, and ‘Ready for the play’. Five postally used, two with postmarks for 1913. Wear to some corners, odd creasing and soiling, otherwise in good condition.
