Surrey C.C.C. 1890-1892. Five early original double-sided scorecards for County matches played at Kennington Oval, all with incomplete printed and/ or handwritten scores. Matches are v Nottinghamshire 4th- 6th August 1890, Surrey won by seven wickets. v Nottinghamshire 3rd- 5th August 1891, Surrey won by an innings and 46 runs (Lohmann ten wickets in the match). v Lancashire 20th- 22nd August 1891, match drawn. v Kent 27th- 29th August 1891, Surrey won by 105 runs (Lockwood eleven wickets in the match). v Yorkshire 21st- 23rd July 1892, Surrey won by 72 runs. All printed on the ground by Wright & Co. (Cricket Press), London. Advertising to verso of the 1890 card for F.H. Ayres, to the others for Geo. G. Bussey sporting goods. Each 4.5”x6”. Some soiling and foxing, odd nicks, otherwise in good condition.
