‘South African tour of Great Britain 1965’. Official mono photograph of the South African touring party, sitting and standing in rows, wearing tour blazers. The photograph laid down to official mount with title to top border and players names printed to lower border. Signed to the lower border by all seventeen players and officials featured, signatures include Van Der Merwe (Cpt), Barlow, P. Pollock, C. Bland, G. Pollock, Ali Bacher, Dumbrill, McKinnon, Lindsay etc. The photograph was presented to the most improved player ‘Vasco Ferriera of the Defence Cricket Club, 1965/66 season by the baggage master and scorer Mitch McLennan with inscription to right hand border. Photograph ‘With the compliments of Rothmans of Pall Mall’. The photograph measures 18”x14” overall. Some wear, slight creasing, foxing, spotting and marks to mount otherwise in good overall condition
