Pakistan inaugural tour to England 1954. Six original sepia press photographs from the 1954 tour. One depicts the team being welcomed on board ship on arrival at Southampton, signed in ink by seven players including Waqar Hasan, Khalid Hasan, Shuja-ud-din, Imtiaz Ahmed, Fazal Mahmood, Alim-ud-din etc. Photo by Reuter. Another photograph is of the team arriving at Manchester station signed by three, Imtiaz Ahmed, Khalid Wasir and Khalid Hasan. Photographer unknown. Sold with four other mono press photographs of match action, one from the 2nd Test at Trent Bridge, three from the 3rd Test at Old Trafford, all Central Press. Each measures approx. 10”x8”. Good condition.
