Pakistan tours to England 1962 and 1967. A selection of original mono/ sepia press photographs from the 1962 and 1967 tours. Three from 1962 are signed by Alim-ud-din, one a signed head and shoulders photograph depicted in cricket attire, a photograph of the Pakistan team for the match played at Arundel, the players seated and standing in rows wearing cricket attire, and one of Alim-ud-din in batting action for Pakistan in the 3rd Test at Headingley. Others from 1962 feature a photograph of the team at Worcester, five of action from the 1st Test at Edgbaston, one from the 5th Test at The Oval. From the 1967 tour a team photograph and two of action from the Test series. Agencies/ photographers include Sport & General, Keystone, Reuter, Central Press Photos etc. The majority measure 10”x8”. Sold with an official scorecard for the tour match v Ireland at Dublin, 1st & 2nd August 1962, the players listed at the start of play. Good/ very good condition. Qty 14.
