Scarborough 1921 & 1922, Middlesex v Essex 1910. Three original mono photographs laid to an album page. To one side is a photograph of the M.C.C. touring team to South Africa 1922 seated and standing in rows in front of the pavilion. Players are Mann (Captain), Woolley, Fender, Jupp, Carr, Macaulay, Kennedy, Mead, Sandham and Dolphin. Below is a photograph of the 1921 Australian tourists being led onto the field by Armstrong (Captain), Ryder, Collins, Mailey, Hendry, McDonald and Macartney. Both measure 5.25”x3.25” and both incorrectly dated ‘1920’. To the verso an earlier sepia photograph of action from Middlesex v Essex at Lord’s 8th- 10th August 1910. Players featured include Tarrant, J.W. Hearne, Murrell (Middlesex), Fane (Essex) etc. 8.25”x6.26”. Ex J.W. Goldman collection. Good condition.
