England v India, The Oval 1936. Original mono press photograph of the two teams together for the 3rd Test, 15th- 18th August 1936, in front of the pavilion with crowds looking on. The players seated and standing in rows wearing cricket attire and blazers. Players featured include Allen (Captain), Hammond, Leyland, Verity, Voce, Duckworth (England), Vizianagram (Captain), Merchant, Mushtaq Ali, Nayudu, Wazir Ali, Amar Singh, Jahangir Khan, Nissar (India) etc. Central Press Photos, London. 8”x6”. Minor staining, otherwise in good/ very good condition.
