Large original attractive colour pictorial boards. Frontispiece dedication leaf and three other full-page photoplates. Illustrated throughout with images of players and teams. Contains a comprehensive history of cricket in India and a report on the M.C.C. team in India 1926/27, interspersed by many pages of advertising. Colourful front cover illustration of cricketers playing on an outline map of India. Crossed bats, ball and stumps motif to rear cover. Replacement spine in green leather with raised bands. Padwick 3807. Boards a little worn and grubby, slight yellowing and odd nick to page edges, some old foxing to pages, otherwise in good condition.
