George Patrick ‘Pat’ Hughes. 1930s. Sepia real photograph postcard of Hughes standing full length in tennis attire. Very nicely signed in black ink to the photograph ‘G.P. Hughes’. Printed title to lower edge. Publisher’s blind embossed stamp to lower left corner for E. Trim of Wimbledon. Postally unused. A nice image in excellent condition.
Hughes won the doubles with Fred Perry at the French Championships in 1933, the Australian Championships in 1934, and with Raymond Tucker the Wimbledon doubles in 1936.
