Tennis signed advertising trade/ postcards early c.1932. Four collector’s cards, each signed in ink by the featured player. Three are real mono photographs with printed caption to lower border, ‘A world famed Tennis Combination. F.H. Ayres’ “Davis Cup” Racket & “The Championship” (Redg.) Ball’. Each player is depicted standing at the net with printed players’ name to the photograph, each by E. Trim & Co. Players/ signatures are Miss B. Nuttall (series no. M2), H.G.N. Lee (no. M35), and Miss M. Heeley (no. M84, signature faded). To verso of each, printed itinerary for the British Team tour to South Africa 1932/33 and player biography. Sold with a mono ‘Famous Amateur Series’ advertising trade/ postcard for ‘Bow Brand’ tennis racquet strings of Mrs. Fearnley Wittingstall in playing action, also signed. Good/ very good condition.
