The Manchester Derby. Manchester City v Manchester United. Seasons 1970/71- 1980/81. Near complete run of ‘home’ and ‘away’ programmes for League Division 1 matches played at Maine Road and Old Trafford for seasons 1970/71- 1972/73 and 1975/76- 1980/81, lacking two for the 1973/74 Maine Road matches (see previous lot). Sold with programmes for the League Cup Round 3 match at Old Trafford 9th October 1974, and League Cup 4th Round at Maine Road 12th November 1975. Annotations to centre field of play pages to the 1970/71 City programme. Voucher clipped from rear wrapper of the 1979/80 United programme. Odd minor faults to the odd programme, otherwise in very good condition. Qty 21.
Manchester United were relegated to League Division 2 at the end of the 1973/74 season and won promotion straight back to Division 1 after one season.
