Frank Worrell of Barbados 1924-1967’. Order of Thanksgiving for Worrell held at Westminster Abbey on 7th April 1967 with official ticket for admission to the Choir for the service. Also two copies of an Order of Service for the memorial service held for Worrell, ‘Sometime professional Radcliffe Cricket Club’, at Radclife Parish Church, 9th April 1967. Very good condition. Sold with a mono studio photograph of Worrell, head and shoulders, wearing his Commonwealth tour of India & Ceylon blazer, a copy photograph of him wearing graduation robes. Both 6.25”x8.25”, photographer unknown. Plus a signed mono photograph of Worrell in batting pose and a further photograph of him walking out to bat with Gerry Gomez with inscription ‘To Derek from Frank’. Good condition. Qty 7.
