The Australian Eleven 1884’. Gunn & Moore calendar/ advertising show card c1920s. Excellent original colour advertising card/board featuring a colour lithograph laid to the card with vignettes of the captain W.L. Murdoch, surrounded by slightly smaller vignettes of the Australian team superimposed on Gunn and Moore bats with cricket scenes and local attractions in the background. Players’ names are listed to lower border. Printed advertising slogan ‘For Over 50 Years, leading players, the world over, have used Gunn & Moore’s “Autograph” Bats’ and company details to borders. Original hanging cord to top border, small pin holes to lower border where the original calendar would have been attached. Minor wear with very small paper loss to left hand bottom corner of the mount otherwise in excellent original condition
