New Zealand. An extensive collection of over one hundred and thirty signatures very nicely presented in two black binders. The majority of signatures are in ink on pieces, laid down with biographical extracts of each player mainly taken from Christopher Martin-Jenkins’ book ‘Who’s Who of Test Cricketers’ (originally published in 1983), with others signed to ‘New Zealand Test Player’ white cards, cuttings, album pages etc. The odd signature duplicated. Earlier signatures include Albaster, Anderson, Barber, Barton, Beck, Bell, Blair, Blunt, Bolton, Burke, Burtt, Butterfield, Cave, Cleverley, Cowie, Cresswell, C. & E. Demptser, Donnelly, Fisher, Gedye, Guillen, W., D. and R. Hadlee, Hayes, James, Kerr, Lowry, MacGibbon, McMahon, Matheson, Merritt, Mills, Moir, Mooney, Overton, Rowe, R. Scott, Sutcliffe, Tindill, H. & G.Vivian, Wallace, Weir, Whitelaw etc. Sold with two colour prints by artist Denise Dean, one signed by John Reid, the other by Ian Smith, both limited editions of 100 produced and signed by the artist. 8.25”x11.75”.
