Donald George Bradman. New South Wales, South Australia & Australia 1927-1949. One page typewritten letter from a Mr S.A. [Boffin] secretary to a lady, the letter dated 21st September 1948 and sent from the Piccadilly Hotel, London. The letter reads ‘Dear Madam, Mr Bradman has asked me to inform you that it was quite impossible, in view of the departure of the Australian Cricket Team on Thursday, to obtain the signatures of the other members of the team. His own signature is on the page indicated. Yours faithfully S.A. Boffin [?], Secretary. Along with the letter is a large album page headed ‘Cricket Australian Team 1948 and it is signed by Don Bradman. Some slight fading to the signature. Good condition
