Laurence John ‘Laurie’ Nash. Tasmania, Victoria & Australia 1929-1937. Single page letter handwritten in ink from Nash to ‘Dear Mr Bailey’. The note is undated but possibly written in 1954. Replying to a request for his autograph, Nash apologises for the delay and looks forward to the impending Ashes Test series against England, ‘As a matter of fact I will be writing for one of our own papers during the series. May the games be close & may the best side win’. Very nicely signed ‘Laurie Nash’. One corner clipped, small adhesive marks to verso, otherwise in good condition.
