Herbert Sutcliffe. Yorkshire & England 1919-1945. Single page handwritten letter in ink on Yorkshire C.C.C. official letterhead. Dated 18th June 1925, Sutcliffe is writing to the publisher, Messrs Chapman & Hall in London to thank them for ‘Mr Noble’s book “Gilligan’s Men”. It is exceptionally interesting’. Nicely signed ‘Herbert Sutcliffe’. Light fold, adhesive marks to verso where previously laid down, otherwise in good condition.
