Yorkshire. ‘Dinner in honour of Hirst and Rhodes and on the occasion of the publication of A.A. Thomson’s fiftieth book’. Official menu for the dinner given by ‘The Cricketer’ held at Lord’s Tavern, 25th June 1959. The menu with Yorkshire white rose emblem and printed title to front, menu and speakers to inside. Multi-signed to the rear cover by thirty two of the guests present. Signatures include Wilfred Rhodes, Wyatt, Allen, Sydney Barnes, Pelham Warner, Strudwick, Woolley, Sutcliffe, Hobbs, A.A. Thomson, Percy Fender, Arthur Langford, Col. Rait Kerr, Ian Peebles, John Arlott, Lord Birkett, Norman Preston, Viscount Mackintosh etc. Good condition.
