Australian Tour of England 1938. Original ten shilling bank note signed in ink to one side by fifteen members of the touring party. Signatures are, reading roughly left to right Don Bradman (Cpt), Waite, Fingleton, McCormick, Hassett, Barnes, Fleetwood-Smith, Badcock, White, Walker, Brown, Barnett, McCabe, Chipperfield, Ward, O’Reilly and W.H. Jeanes (Manager). Title ‘Australian Cricket Team 1938’ to top border. To the other side of the note are the signatures of W.A. Woodfull (former Captain), Arthur Mailey, Hanson Carter(former Australian wicket-keeper), ‘Jack’ O’Connor who toured England with Australia in 1909 and Dr. Roland G. Pope who played one Test for Australia in 1884/85. Minor fading otherwise in good condition with all signatures legible. An unusual signed tour souvenir.
