Test and county team signatures 1948. Large green autograph book containing the nicely signed ink signatures of the England and Australia Test teams, the Gentlemen and Players teams and eight county teams from 1948. The England page signed by twelve players and appears to be the team who played the 2nd Test at Lords, signatures include Yardley (Cpt), Wright, Edrich, Dollery, Hutton, Compton, Coxon, Laker, Evans, Emmett (12th man) etc, the Australian page signed by eight players, Lindwall, Hamence, Morris, Tallon, Loxton, McCool, Johnson and Brown, the Players team signed by seven and the Gentlemen team by eight players, signatures include Washbrook, Crapp, Bedser, Pritchard, Robertson, Wooller, Palmer, Donnelly, Cranston etc. The eight county teams comprise Derbyshire (11 signatures), Gloucestershire (12), Leicestershire (12), Lancashire (11), Somerset (12), Sussex (12), Middlesex (10) and Worcestershire (12). Signatures include Yarnold, Wyatt, Jackson, Kenyon, Howarth, Edrich, Mann, L. & D. Compton, Young, Bartlett, Langridge, Oakes, Parks, Mitchell-Innes, Luckes, Hazell, Wellard, Berry, Jackson, Lester, Sperry, Cranston, Pollard, Place, Hilton, Ikin, Gladwin, Pope, Rhodes, Elliott, Allen, Goddard, Cook, Graveney, The Somerset and Australia pages and the Lancashire and Derbyshire pages are signed back to back. The album breaking at the spine a little otherwise in good condition with nice signatures. The pages measure 7.25”x4.75”
