Leonard Litton Wilkinson. Lancashire & England. Mounted, framed and glazed photographic image of Wilkinson bowling with ink signature on paper piece attached. 7.5”x11”. Sold with a modern postcard of the pavilion at Trent Bridge signed by Wilkinson to the front and wording to the verso recalling that he thought he was the last player that Harold Larwood got out before he retired in 1937. He states he was 28not out. Wilkinson’s memory was incorrect. He was 28 not out at the end of the Lancashire first innings but Larwood did not bowl him out. Larwood played nine matches in 1938 and that was then the end of his first class career. Good condition
