‘20th Australian Team to Great Britain 1948’. Original official mono photograph of the Australian touring party, standing and seated in rows, wearing tour blazers. The photograph laid down to official photographer’s mount. Printed title to top border and players’ names to lower border. Players featured are Bradman (Captain), Hassett, Hamence, Johnson, Brown, Morris, McCool, Harvey, Barnes, Lindwall, Saggers, Ring, Johnston, Toshack, Miller, Tallon and Loxton. The photograph by Sport & General Press Agency, London measures 9.5”x7.5”. Mounted overall 15”x12”. To the verso is a nice presentation inscription in ink ‘To Sir Pelham Warner with best wishes from Keith Johnson, Manager Australian XI’. Very good condition. A nice image.
