Frank Laver. Victoria & Australia 1891-1912. Excellent extra large mono ‘Imperial’ cabinet card of Laver, full length in batting pose and wearing Australian cap. The photograph by T.W. Bolland of London, with photographer’s blind stamp embossed to lower border of the image, taken in 1909 during the Australian tour to England. Photographers titles and address to lower border and gilt to all edges. ‘F. Laver’ handwritten to lower border of the mount. The card measures approximately 7.5”x13”. Odd bumps to corners and edges, and very slight loss to lower edge, minor adhesive marks to verso otherwise in excellent condition. A superb image and a rarely seen large cabinet card
