‘Hammond bowled by Fleetwood-Smith. 4th Test. Australia v England. Adelaide 1937’. Excellent photograph of Hammond being bowled with keeper Oldfield and Chipperfield at slip in close attendance. Beautifully signed in black ink by all three players to the image. Title to the lower border of the original mount. Modern over mount, framed and glazed. Overall 16”x15.5”. A good image with excellent bold signatures. Good/very good condition
Hammond was bowled out by Fleetwood-smith in the 2nd innings of the 4th Test at Adelaide in which was held on the January 29th, 30th, February 1st, 2nd and 3rd for 39. Australia won the Test by 148 runs with Bradman making 212 in the Australian 2nd innings
