Surrey C.C.C. 1892. Rare and impressive official sepia photograph of the Surrey team, two umpires and scorer, seated and standing in rows wearing caps and blazers. The photograph is laid down to official photographers mount with title ‘Surrey, 1892’ and players names printed to lower border. Players featured include J. Shuter, Lockwood, Henderson, Wood, Abel, Streatfield, Lohmann, Richardson etc. The photograph by E. Hawkins & Co of Brighton. The photograph measures approx 11.5”x9.25” and is mounted, framed and glazed, overall 17.5”x16”. The photographic image showing signs of ‘light’ fading and some minor foxing, otherwise in good condition. Excellent image of this early Surrey team
